CarePages – Getting Started

Seacoast Hospice now offers patients, their families and friends direct FREE access to CarePages.com, an online community of millions of people coming together to share the challenges, hopes and triumphs of anyone facing a life-changing health event. Each page you create is secure, private and available to whomever you invite to be a part.

Patients, family and friends can use a personalized web site to relate their stories, post photos and update friends and family instantly. In turn, people who care send messages of love and encouragement. Various resources for assistance are not only here on the Seacoast Hospice website, but CarePages.com also offers a variety of resources and support tools as well. We want to continue to help ensure that no one goes through a health challenge alone.

Creating a Care Page

Visit www.CarePages.com/seacoasthospice

Once you arrive at the CarePages website click on "become a member".

Fill out the required information on the screen like that below and click the "sign up" button at the bottom of the page.

Now that you are a CarePages member you can create your Care Page for yourself or a loved one. Fill out the required information to create a Care Page. Don’t worry, if you miss something important, CarePages.com will tell you what was missed when you complete the page.

While creating your Care Page pay special attention to the privacy level settings. Read all three of the options available and select the one that you are most comfortable with. If you would like only people you invite to see your site, just choose Invitation Only. When you list them as people you’d like to invite, they will be able to select the link sent to them automatically and will then be able to see your Care Page.

When you have filled out the necessary information, click the “create” button at the bottom of the page.

Congratulations! You have created a Care Page!

To invite people to see your Care Page, simply click on the link on your actual Care Page, “Invite Your Friends” (see picture below) on the bottom right of your page and then fill in the information. A link to your Page will be sent to those you invite.
