Report Volunteer Hours

Your volunteer hours are very important to this organization. Seacoast Hospice is a Medicare-funded agency and our funding agreement requires that 5% of patient care hours be provided by volunteers. Only your reported hours can be recorded and counted toward this requirement.

All of the following should be reported on a monthly basis:

• Visits, telephone calls and written communication to a patient or family
• Errands for a patient or family
• Vigils
• Wakes or funerals
• Telephone calls on behalf of Seacoast Hospice, including Bereavement and Fundraising
• Seacoast Hospice groups you facilitate or attend
• Seacoast Hospice meetings you attend, including Committee meetings, Board of Director's meetings, IDT and others
• Office or administrative work you do at Seacoast Hospice or from home
